Job Opportunity

Area Representative – Philadelphia, PA

The Greater Philadelphia Fellowship of Christian Athletes is announcing a full-time staff opportunity to serve Christ as an Area Representative. This position serves the inner city of Philadelphia by offering support to existing huddles and growing the awareness and impact of the ministry in the city.

The person filling this position will uphold and promote all aspects of FCA ministry in the city. This starts by modeling the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence, and continues by developing the 4C’s of FCA Ministry (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community). Qualified individuals will have a solid walk with Christ, a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, and a servant’ heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Some funds have been raised for this position to help the person become established in the ministry. The person hired will be responsible for helping raise additional ongoing funding. This will be done under the supervision and training of the Area Director.

Requirements include: A willingness to commit to serving for at least two years, having an athletic background, strong recruiting skills, a desire to see the growth of FCA in the area and the ability to work as a teammate with current staff. Preference will be given to candidates with prior FCA campus and/or coaches ministry experience.
